ZTechnik's Z5220 Windscreen Stabilizer Kit adds support and strength to the OEM windshield mount arms on 2013 and later BMW® R1200/1250 GS/GSA motorcycles.

The Stabilizer Kit securely supports even the tallest ZTechnik Touring Size Windscreen. The Z5220 Kit also works with all OEM and aftermarket windscreens currently available.

The Stabilizer bracket installs easily and is fully compatible with the OEM windscreen height adjust hardware. Simply loosen the two Stabilizer knobs, adjust the windscreen like you normally do, re-tighten the two knobs, and off you go.

A must if you have the ZTechnik windshield

I initially purchased the ZTechnik windshield for my R1250 GS and did not get the stabilizer bar. I love the windshield - much better protection than the OEM shield without being much bigger, but it did vibrate a lot at speed so I decided to add this stabilizer set.

The supplied instructions are good. It took about 10 minutes to install. It works very well to stop the windshield vibration - it is now rock solid. The only downside, and it's very minor, is that you now have to loosen two hand tightened wing nuts in order to raise or lower the windshield. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone with the ZTechnik shield.
