I ordered the bar risiers before watching the instalation video (my bad I know) I just figured it looked pretty straight forward and I would watch the video when I received the risiers and was ready to install them. Needless to say I missed to whole part about getting the tool to pull the hanlerbars out of the "yoke". Heating that yoke to 150+ deg. is not a good option that's a lot of aluminium to heat and keep heated while separate the two. I was very fortunate that one of the members of our local BMW club had the tool, and I quickly learned why the tool is necessary. After that everything went pretty much as the video describes. One little point to pay atterntion to be careful with the handle bars once the are out of the yoke. We had a hidden plug that came lose during the process on the right side. Once we got everything set up the way I wanted it, the bike wouldn't start. We had to take it all apart and found one of the plugs had come apart. Not a big deal in reality but it took some time to troubleshoot, locate and reconnect it.

Once they were adjusted correctly I'm pleased with the outcome. My only suggestion to Sierra is to be a little more up front about the tool needed for the extraction. I accept the blame for not being thorough before purchasing that was a rookie mistake that was a rookie mistake.

Outstanding quality and fit. Really enhances comfort and provides for a less aggressive seating position which favors my old back and eliminates the numbness I was experiencing in my right hand while riding. Well worth the money.

Received the set in a timely manner, installed was as described, bike is more comfortable. The set worked well for me.
